Rainbow Six Pro League Reveals Esports Plans Through 2020

Ubisoft has announced its new formula for the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Pro League, as well as all Rainbow Six Siege competitions ranking from amateur to professional, from 2018-2020. The new structure is designed to boost growth in the Rainbow Six esports scene and kicks off in June 2018.

Following the transitional Season, the Rainbow Six Pro League will be split into two Seasons, each lasting six months; from June to November 2018 and December 2018 to May 2019. The eight best teams from each season, including two per the Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America and North America regions, will compete in their respective seasons for a prize pool of $275,000 each year.
